What surfaces can be enlivened with decorative finishes?

Most of our enquiries are to enliven walls and ceilings. Certain internal fixtures such as columns and balustrades can also benefit from a decorative finish.

How do I get my project on Michael’s schedule?

A 30% deposit is required to schedule and begin the project.

How far will Michael travel?

Michael is based in Sydney, Australia. Distance is not a boundary to artistry. Michael is willing to travel long distances – even to international destinations – if he is the right person for the project. Travel expenses can be rolled into your quote.

Will I see a sample of my design?

Absolutely. Michael will create a custom sample board for your project. He will not begin with the application until you are happy with and sign off on the sample board.

What do I need to do before the project start date?

Please remove any wall hangings and place the furniture in the centre of the room. If possible, remove any breakable objects and artwork, and store them in a safe location. In some case it will be necessary to have an area prepared prior to beginning the project, and any preparation requirements will be discussed and outlined beforehand.

Does Michael work alone?

Stucco Galleria is owned and operated by Michael. This means that the man who makes the promises is the man that delivers them.

Can I use the room while the project is in progress?

Yes, you can. We will clean up at the end of each day, and store our supplies in a designated space onsite, for as little disruption as possible.

How long does a project usually take?

Every project and every space is different. The number of layers and difficulty will determine the exact length of the job. A room in a home, or a single office tends to be complete within a week, while spaces of commercial scale have been completed within three weeks. Drying time can’t be rushed and is factored into all of our estimates.

Will the finishes look exactly like the sample?

Since the sample is typically a 60cm x 60cm board, you should expect a slight variation. Existing texture can play a role in the overall look. While we make every effort to present the project as true to the sample as possible, the sample is an indication of what will become a hand-finished unique artwork.

When is payment due?

Final payment is due when the project is complete.
